Group Training Sessions

 

Small group personal training offers the benefits of a personal trainer without the cost of one. The sessions provide motivation, guidance and a social aspect to training. Fast results which are affordable in a fun environment.

 

Group training sessions run at set times throughout the week and have certain 'themes' of exercise.

The Group Sessions

CrossFit (Mondays & Fridays at 6pm)

These sessions combine a range of functional exercises in time or team based challenges. The style of training promotes holistic fitness by training every component of fitness. The sessions are high intensity and extremely varied. A reasonable level of fitness required for this one. More about CrossFit

SquashFit (Tuesday 6pm)

This session combines the skills of personal trainers and squash coaches to produce a fun mixture of squash coaching and fitness training. The sessions work like a circuit with participants spending time being coached, fitness trained or actually playing squash against others members or coaches. Basic racket skills are helpful but not essential. More about SquashFit

GymFit (Wednesday 6pm, Friday 5pm)

The GymFit session is a lighter version of the CrossFit sessions. The exercises are tamer but the idea is the same. Varied exercises with gym equipment combos, occasionally time or team based. Intensity is lower than CrossFit and much more suited for beginner to intermediate levels of fitness. More about GymFit

MuscleFit (Thursday 6pm)

If you want to learn the right moves to build muscle without damaging yourself then MuscleFit is the one for you. The sessions are focused on teaching proper technique whilst promoting a good progressive structure to training plans. More about MuscleFit

SportFit (Saturday 8am)

Our SportFit sessions are designed for those seeking performance benefits in their sports. The sessions focuses on the components of fitness required in sport such as speed, agility, power, strength, reaction time and balance. The sessions are high intensity and although geared towards sport performers, would be suitable for anyone who wants to train a little harder. More about SportFit

Boot Camp (Tuesday 7pm, Thursday 7pm & Saturday 9am)

The Boot Camp is a course rather than a traditional group session and is booked in 6 week blocks starting at certain times. The course combines the great outdoors with studio and gym based challenges. 3 times a week for 6 weeks working under the supervision of personal trainers is sure to get you the results you want quickly. FAQ's

What are group sessions?

Group Sessions are small groups of our clients with similar goals training together. The sessions are lead by a personal trainer who provides motivation, guidance and enjoyment to the session.

 

Who are group sessions for?

Someone who is looking for motivating, social, fun and cost effective training. You will need a basic level of fitness before starting a group session but you will always work within your own personal limits rather than the groups. Each group session has a theme and an intensity level so there is something for everybody.

 

How big is a group?

3-6 people per session. Keeping the groups small allows us to provide personal guidance and motivation that you wouldn't find in an exercise class. If we have a large group (4-6) we often have two trainers to look after the group.

 

What happens if I miss session?

You can make it up! With a group session just about everyday as well as a boot camp which you can jump in at any point. You are not committed to one type of sessions so if you miss a CrossFit on a Monday, you can join the SquashFit or GymFit on a different day. If you miss a week you can double up the week after.

 

Can I pay as I go?

We obviously prefer you to make monthly commitments but we do allow you to pay as you go if necessary. The sessions are £15.

 

How do I start?

We'd love to have you on board but we do need to give you a medical screen first, along with some basic paperwork. Please contact us and we arrange a time to meet and get things moving.

Prices

 

With the exception of Boot Camp all the group sessions work on the same price structure. You pick how many sessions you'd like to do a week and you pay by the month. The sessions don't have to be the same each week and you are able to make up sessions if you miss a week.

 

1 sessions a week - £60 a month

2 sessions a week - £120 a month

3 sessions a week - £180 a month
