Food Intolerance Testing

A food intolerance can be defined as a detrimental reaction, often delayed, to a food, beverage, food additive, or compound found in foods that can produce unpleasant symptoms. These symptoms can include gut symptoms, bloating, migraines, low mood, weight gain, fatigue and skin problems. A food intolerance leads to incomplete digestion of certain foods and subsequent lack of absorption.

A food intolerance is different from an allergy. An allergy is an instant immune system response and considerably more serious. Intolerances are built up over time and are a response by the digestive system. Once identified, offending foods can be removed from the diet yielding improvements in digestion, energy levels and skin appearance.

If you haven't had an intolerance test before and not currently experiencing any noticeable symptoms, we would still recommend taking the test once as it’s always interesting to know if you’re living sub optimally.
